Birthday Outfits
Hey You,
Welcome back to my blog!
Let's be honest, your birthday is something to get excited about and your birthday outfit should be no different. It is your night after all, which means you'll be the center of attention. In this blog I am revealing the outfits I wore for my birthday. Using these looks I will discuss different ways to style your perfect birthday outfit.
Birthday celebrations are kind of a big deal, especially when it's your own. Whether you're the type of person to go all-out with a full-blown party or you prefer a low-key get together with your closest friends, there's no doubt that you deserve to look and feel great on your birthday. And as you start preparing to celebrate your next trip around the sun, it's only appropriate to have a handful of birthday outfits on-hand to start your new year off in style.
Give yourself a head start on planning your birthday fête and scroll down to see both of these chic outfits below.
For the birthdays that feel like a bigger deal than others, throw on a sequined dress and statement earrings. If sequins aren't your thing but you still want a bit of shimmer in your look, wear a lurex dress with a pair of cool heels.
On my birthday eve, I decided to wear a sequined/lurex mermaid dress with sash detail. While the sash looked great the way it was designed, I customized the dress a little and pinned the sash to go around my waist to define my waist and highlight the mermaid silhouette.
Being a big fan of high low dresses and ruffles, this dress was perfect for the occasion. I paired the dress with gorgeous and delicate rose gold necklace and jewelry from Swarovski.
I was debating between wearing a pair of red heels and beige heels. Eventually I chose beige as you see. What would you have chosen?
Finally, if you’re here from my Instagram and want to find out how other dress looks, this is it.
I planned a dinner with my closest friends who by the way planned my birthday eve and made it so special. A big shout out to them for the decor and all the warm wishes.
And for the dinner, I decided to wear an olive velvet cut out pencil dress with stud embellishments.
With the olive dress, I wore a matching choker necklace and other silver jewelry. The contrasting accessories like burgundy heels from Mango and a baguette bag from Charles & Keith made the look unique and stand out.
You can find similar dresses at ASOS, BCBG and Macy’s.
Now, if you are not comfortable with a sequined dress or a stud embellished dress, then a unique bridesmaid dress or a satin suit with contrasting heels are great alternatives. I would also consider a red blazer suit with red heels and rose gold accessories an extremely trendy and chic outfit.
I always emphasize on finding out the outfit style that suits your silhouette and this is the occasion when you’ll need it the most. If you’re confused, feel free to read my previous blogs and don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions.
Finally, thank you so much for your wishes and I hope you have a great week.

Here’s the tip for the week-
Tip #17: While a black dress is a good option, a colored or a sequined dress would be your perfect choice to make some heads turn (after all it’s your birthday). Don’t forget to accessorize and have fun.
