Beach Vacation Outfits

Hey You,

Welcome back to my blog!

Many of our anxiety levels consequently tend to rise with the thought of finding new bathing suits for every occasion. But do not fret, there has never been a better time to embrace your beautiful curves by highlighting them in fashion-forward prints. Make sure to scroll all the way to the end of the blog to see all outfits I wore during my last beach vacation.

In the swimming world, it might sound like a mission impossible but my personal opinion is that mesh swimsuits are not only one of the most popular swimwear searches online but also the biggest swimwear trend of the year because of the way they complement all body types! But don’t just rush and buy one of those. Before buying your next swimsuit, take a moment to consider where you are going to spend most of your time wearing it. If you are like me, who likes to wear two-piece bathing suits on a beach, this blog is for you.

In this blog, I will be discussing outfits to wear on a beach vacation and some tips on layering your beach wear to for a complete look. Honestly, this will help you pack efficiently for the trip especially if you have baggage restrictions.

For my vacation at Myrtle Beach over the 4th of July long weekend, I wore the following outfits -

Here, I chose to style a plain solid black bikini with a sky blue denim shorts. Other than the basic combination of a black crop top and a blue denim shorts, the boho silver necklace is what gives this outfit a tropical vibe.

Basics are classy and you can pair them with a beige handbag (which I usually carry on my vacations as they go well with all colors) and some strappy black sandals.

Feel free to carry a cover up for your swimwear or show off your set and have fun. Looks amazing either way right?

You can find similar basic sets at Shein, ASOS and pretty much your favorite shopping site. The necklace is from ASOS and the bag is from Charles & Keith.

With plenty of activities planned around the pool, at the beach, or on a boat, I know you need something better than a stars and stripes bikini - you want to look on trend and feel festive. So, when it comes to summers, bright colors and tropical prints (or any prints for that matter) are my go to options. At Myrtle Beach, I decided to wear this cute swim set from Shein that fit so well. I would 10/10 recommend you buying this one.

I wore a denim black skirt all day along and switched it with the matching cover up when at the beach. The golden layered necklace and the hoops completed the look. Not to mention the sunglasses gave the entire look a chic vibe.

Here’s me enjoying the Sun and posing for some “sun-kissed” pictures.

Feel free to accessorize or layer up with a button down dress. A basic denim shorts and a skirt are always great to carry as they go well with most of the bikini tops. This way you would not have to worry about your tops for the vacation.

The following pictures are also from the same trip. If you closely see, I am wearing the same white button down sheer shirt with an embellished collar in both the pictures. It goes well with a basic white crop top and also with a sequin black short dress that you might want to carry for rooftops or bars.

Here’s the tip for the week-

Tip #19: Choose a printed swimwear over a basic one this Summer. Basic denim shorts and skirt are always great to carry as they go well with most of the bikini tops. White, beige or black button down shirts and dresses are the best cover-ups.
